Your night begins with a 30-minute behind-the-scenes tour of the theatre, led by experienced investigators. You’ll hear about the theatre’s rich past—from its 1929 grand opening as a silent movie palace inspired by the discovery of King Tut’s tomb, to the chilling stories of phantom footsteps, whispering voices, cold drafts, and mysterious figures seen moving through the balconies and backstage areas.
The Egyptian Theatre is more than just a haunted hotspot—it’s a featured location in the paranormal documentary film I Hunt Ghosts. The film showcases real footage and investigations conducted on-site, providing a deeper look into the spirits said to linger within its historic walls.

After the tour, the lights go low and the investigation begins. Bring your own gear—or just a flashlight—and team up with fellow explorers to uncover what lurks in the dark. If you're new to ghost hunting, our hosts will introduce you to the tools and techniques, including spirit boxes, EMF detectors, and other equipment you’ll get to try firsthand.
